You’ve acquired a crappy cookie somewhere. Go into your browser settings and delete all cookies and saved pages. Next reboot your computer.
It’s a bit of a hassle because saved passwords that are cookie based also disappear so have to reentered but it goes with the territory. I clean out my cookies and pages every few weeks. Just like to keep things unclogged and running quickly.

Switch to BRAVE and/or DuckDuckGo Browser and ditch the chromecrap.
Brave is Chromium. They just block some of the trackers and ads for you.

Ok, I just know that I don’t have any trouble with either of them.
I use Edge and it works fine
For various things I use Brave (primary), Firefox (most locked down), Chrome, IE, and an unasked for forced copy of Edge which I never use. I have a really old copy of Seamonkey which is pretty much non-functional at this point. So a browser for any occasion.
It is tracking software. They are infiltrating every aspect to silence us. There is also a popblock+ that appears on Clouthub, MeWe, and Gab. Not sure how they auger in but they do
