Arizona Republicans voted Saturday to censure Cindy McCain and two prominent GOP members who have found themselves crosswise with former President Donald Trump.
The censures of Senator John McCain's widow, former Senator Jeff Flake and Governor Doug Ducey are merely symbolic. But they show the party's foot soldiers are focused on enforcing loyalty to Mr. Trump, even in the wake of an election that saw Arizona inch away from its staunchly Republican roots.
Party activists also reelected controversial Chairwoman Kelli Ward, who has been one of Mr. Trump's most unflinching supporters and among the most prolific promoters of his baseless allegations of election fraud.

Glad they at least censured McCain and Ducey. Wish they would have done more. Expelling them would have sent a better message. Republicans need to go scorched earth on traitors within their party.
Lindsey Graham has been censured several times by the South Carolina GOP. All to no affect.
I spoke in opposition of censuring a sitting Governor. It does nothing but give fodder to our enemies. He has only 2 more years before being term limited. He has done some great things for our State. It’s politically dumb. It is meaningless.

President Trump’s 2 impeachments were badges of honor . . . impeaching a man that was wrongly charged is not a badge of honor . . . quite the contrary!

CBS Propaganda Outlet, WITHOUT EVIDENCE, said that Kelli Ward had made “baseless allegations of election fraud.”
I always like to call these lying “news” organizations out on their lies.

My hat is off to Kelli Ward and the majority of the Arizona Republicans. Nice work.
There needs to be a historical record. Even if it’s just a censure. One of the reasons why Republicans are so dispirited right now is because they have been betrayed and no one is ever held accountable. Just my opinion.
