The windows had “blown out from some type of explosion,” Cano said. The walls outside had been vandalized with profanity.
Labeled a hate group for being “anti-LGBTQ” by the Southern Poverty Law Center, the First Works Baptist Church is the subject of a Change.org campaign that’s seeking to oust the place of worship out of El Monte. The petition was started three weeks ago and has so far garnered more than 14,790 signatures.
A group called Keep El Monte Friendly had planned a protest at the church this Sunday morning.

And they don't see the irony.
How friendly are they when they are protesting someone else's existence simply because they have a different opinion?
“Traitor Joe’s brown shirts are busy. They’re gonna get a lot more busier and then the reprisals will start happening.”
Yes. This is SA activity.
The greater sin of this church than being pro-marriage is that it is mainly Hispanic but multi-racial.
People of all backgrounds worshipping together.
It belies the racist white supremacist meme that the Ministry of Truth must push.
It probably isnt the illegals who are harassing this church.
Biden has already promised to put such churches on the domestic terror list and have them put under federal surveillance.

El Monte?
Yep. El Monte used to be cowboy country. It now looks like some trashy foreign country with lots of crime, thousands of illegals etc.
Only the beginning.
Think Nazi Germany, 1934.

Christianity After Religion: The End of Church and the Birth of a New Spiritual Awakening!
Diana Butler Bass, one of contemporary Christianity’s leading trend-spotters, exposes how the failings of the church today are giving rise to a new “spiritual but not religious” movement. Using evidence from the latest national polls and from her own cutting-edge research, Bass, the visionary author of A People’s History of Christianity, continues the conversation began in books like Brian D. McLaren’s A New Kind of Christianity and Harvey Cox’s The Future of Faith, examining the connections—and the divisions—between theology, practice, and community that Christians experience today. Bass’s clearly worded, powerful, and probing Christianity After Religion is required reading for anyone invested in the future of Christianity.

Can Hatred of Christians Lead to Support of Sexual Minorities?

The church didn’t want deviate behavior in their church as their, and many religious organizations organizations beliefs, identify.
Bible texts often cited by Christians to condemn homosexuality:
(Genesis 9:20–27), (Genesis 19:1–11),(Leviticus 18:22, 20:13), (1 Corinthians 6:9–10), (1 Timothy 1:10), (Romans 1:26–27), (Leviticus 18:22) (Leviticus 20:13), (Judges 19:16-24), (1 Kings 14:24), (1 Kings 15:12), (2 Kings 23:7), (Jude 7).
Doesn’t it seem a little over the top to not accept criticism that has been in effect since before recorded time. Who’s wrong, the Bible or people who don’t follow along with it? I don’t agree with Obama’s chosen church in Chicago that acts in a racist manner. But I don’t try to close their doors.
The church didn’t threaten them, just made it clear they didn’t want them in their church as it was a blasphemy of their God. So why perpetuate a lie? Go to another church or start your own. Then find a God that accepts the actions and beliefs of what can be considered deviate to other religious theologies. And leave those alone that don’t believe your way. This country was founded on religious freedom and is guaranteed in the Constitution. Those rules mean the same to both platforms. You want harm, not justice. Is that something a person of God should wish. I guess you missed the last one of the 10 commandments:
You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.
— Exodus 20:17
And part of doing unto others is respecting their actions if they do not break the law or harm anyone that isn’t choosing to be. Like you trying to harm rather than doing what your freedoms are for. And KTLA can’t be speaking for all the people in El Monte as 37% are Catholic who believe in homosexual civil unions, just not church unions. But the other 63% may not even believe in that.
