He has a very good run.
Delenn is gone. That’s too bad. a lot of the cast of B5 is gone now.
I never liked his interviews,.
But I never make a mockery of someone’s life. Our life is precious to each of us.
Why are people here so anxious to make a mockery of it?
No, that was number of his marriages
He was alright long ago in radio, used to keep me entertained while working night shifts, too bad he took a left turn, he married beautiful young women, RIP Larry.
Yes, Milton Berle, Larry King, Abe Vigoda, who else? We should start a thread, lol!
He can’t be dead. I just heard him telling me about the miracle prostate supplements he was taking.
yep and all his trips to Carvell Ice Cream
“yep and all his trips to Carvell Ice Cream”
I loved the Carvel story.
King exaggerated or made up stuff, Sandy Koufax said he had no part in it and didn’t even know King back then.
It was still a great story. How true any of it was is unknown.
rip.
Say what???
I better re-read your post. This time while wearing my good glasses!
Lol!
I only watched him when an old time actor would die. The young ones on Fox had zero connection, feeling, whatever it was, to any of the past actors. Larry would have on other older actors to discuss those that died, just found it better than the young drips on Fox who knew nothing about them besides what was on their teleprompters.
“too bad he took a left turn, he married beautiful young women, RIP Larry.”
I’m glad he brightened your life at night. He was quite entertaining. Not as much (for me) as the late, great Art Bell, but excellent nonetheless. ;)
As for his left turn, I guess, given the “milieu” in which he worked, I suppose most of the beautiful young women he encountered were starry-eyed liberals.
I agree: RIP, Larry. We’ve lost so many great ones recently. Neil Peart, Eddie Van Halen, Alex Trebek, the list goes on.
Used to listen to Larry when I worked the night shift at a C Store and it was always interesting.
I once read a disturbing story on Larry when he was doing radio in Miami.
His Mother had died and he did not have the money to pay for her funeral.
At the time he was close friends with the Mayor of Miami, who was also a real estate developer. He borrowed the money from this guy and his wife to pay the funeral home. Story was he never paid it and his mother sat in storage in the funeral home for years until Larry finally got around to doing something.
If true that makes him pretty despicable .
I really liked Art Bell when I could catch him, he was entertaining .

He definitely was. Used to listen to him in the middle of the night while nursing my firstborn. I told my son, “Chris, as a baby, you were exposed to Art Bell at night and Rush Limbaugh during the day.” LOL! Turns out, he always has my back, even though I really don’t deserve it.
(I have a problem with alcohol; been depressed since leaving the States. Chris found out that I got some money and bought some wine and is mad at me, but he keeps talking to me. He really is a Godsend who I really don’t deserve).
Anyway, do you think that Art ever got to “the bottom” of “Mel’s Hole?” LOL!!! Refrigerators going in, no sound. All manner of appliances pushed into it; never any sound. I think it’s in the Northwest. Maybe Oregon. ?
All the best,
Julie
About time. The grim reaper has been after him for a long time. Not only illness’s but being married 7 times!
#26 It is the “Shadows” killing them off from Babylon 5
