Trudeau is a poseur.

He will say one thing to one group and then go to British Columbia and say that their native claims to ancestral lands need to be honored over building pipelines.

The lberal press in Canada is much like it is in the USA, the press does not call him on his flops and flops.

The dynamic between Alberta, a very resource rich province becoming a player on the federal power scene, is testy all the time. Trudeau supports the Alberta oil industry but in fact has Green New ideals like Biden.

In truth Trudeau will lose little sleep if the Conservatives take a political hit in Alberta because they have not diversified their economy away from oil. It means that the low taxes in Alberta, and its rich government coffers will empty, and there will be a chance that Big Government and the socialist reset can happen in Alberta, which has been a Texas style maverick within the federal system of Canada.

Trudeau is a radical socialist by ideology. His tears are crocodilian.

Canada will leave this fight to the courts between the corporations involved. If necessary Trudeau will invest Canadian money to buy out these failing corporations like he did with the Alberta/B.C, pipeline to the coast, and then he will simply sit on it, doing little or nothing. Alberta has oil, but no way to get it to market except by rail. The Dems have done that also in the states for a reason. Dem supporter Warren Buffet owns most of the rail between the Canadian Border and the refineries that the Keystone pipeline was going to connect. Trudeau likely has some personal rail investment in that game along with a few Liberal fat cats in Ottawa.

transporting oil by rail drives up the price, and is harder on the environment, but this is all about dis-empowering oil companies so that the socialist hierarchy can bleed of some of that money. Trump was having none of that, but as you see, the special interests have won out. The little guys, the 100,000 workers formerly supported by Trump will be punished by losing their jobs. They need to become Democrats. That’s the lesson.

Donald Trump can now say only 4 days into the Biden presidency: “ Miss me yet?”
