an alternative while you wait is the MMR shot. they are studying it to see if it helps at all with cross reactivity. There have been interesting comparisons with the Mumps titer.
Of course, an MMR shot at that age might not be a good idea.
I got mine this week. Next up after a waiting period is the dreaded Shingles shot.
The first Shingrix shot was a tough one for me, but I had a drywall guy working at my house today who just recovered from shingles and looking at his pics on his phone the Shingrix effects were a piece of cake.
