Same. I stopped following politics during his term in part because I couldn’t stand the fawning adulation and endless “I, I, I, me, me, me” rambling flowery speeches that said nothing. He had a historic opportunity particularly with the racial divisions and he worked to strengthen the false ideology of identity politics. He accomplished little and undermined the nation on the world stage. His goal of “fundamental transformation” was about planning for permanent power for his ideological allies, not about restoring America and helping the American people. That was the change.
Did you see people holding Trump-Pence-2020 signs — with duct tape over “Pence”?

You and me both. Every time I heard his voice on the radio, I changed the channel, including on Larry Elder’s show when he would play long excerpts from the Zero’s speeches. I also dropped National Review during that time because they were always featuring him on their cover (and for their growing squishiness on conservative issues).

Shoot. There were more people in front of the CVS pharmacy at the motorcade than on the grounds for the inauguration.
If PDJT can import 50 million voters within one or two weeks, and then continue to add to that number, it would be a pretty powerful start. I say don’t start a new party; co-opt the existing Constitution Party, and let ‘er rip.

I hear ya. This is the worst day in my lifetime. Hard to wrap my head around the idea that our ancestors sacrificed their lives over the centuries for THIS.

He has a few minutes left. Wouldn’t it be cool if in the last two minutes he unleashed some super bombshell? I say “wouldn’t it” not “It’s going to happen” just last minute wishful thinking as I’m reflecting on the magnificence of the accomplishments made by the best President our country has ever had.

I’m in. They got so many people chasing ghosts, not marching on capitols. And “Trust Sessions!” stopped many from melting Senate phones, when Teump needed them melted, to get rid of him. Etc. “The Midterms Are Safe!” Aaargh! We lost 2018 by less than 100,000 votes. Etc.
