President Trump reportedly discussed forming a new political party – the Patriot Party – after “feuding” with the Republican establishment.
The Wall Street Journal reported the following in its January 19th piece entitled “Trump Has Discussed Starting a New Political Party”:
President Trump has talked in recent days with associates about forming a new political party, according to people familiar with the matter, an effort to exert continued influence after he leaves the White House.
Mr. Trump discussed the matter with several aides and other people close to him last week, the people said. The president said he would want to call the new party the “Patriot Party,” the people said.
Mr. Trump has feuded in recent days with several Republican leaders including Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.), who on Tuesday said Mr. Trump deserved blame for provoking the deadly Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol. Polls show Mr. Trump retains strong support among rank-and-file GOP voters.
I agree with that, rodguy911. Let’s go closer to 80mil - maybe more. I’ve heard some estimates say that biden only “truly” received about 33mil votes.
bitch mccommunist can go directly to }{€££ !!!
There's a big difference with this situation. Farage formed his party over a single issue, thereby forcing the Tories to back Brexit (it was the Conservative party that just about collapsed, not Labour). As long as Farage got Brexit he was happy, and UKIP had served its purpose. With the Republicans there is not one single issue.
There is a general philosophical divide between the wings of the GOP. Arguably it goes beyond philosophy to differing perceptions of reality and personality types. I believe that the typical establishment Republican reads the NY Times, and mostly believes what they're reading, while rarely looking at conservative sources. This is why they don't think the election was stolen.
It is time to ignore this cowardly empty suit. His hopium is rancid.
No they want.... closer to 15 million... which means Democrats will obtain super majorities... once again, Republicans always eat their own...Dems always crack the whip and keep their malcontents in line. We need to turn the page... Trump started the movement.... he’s set new standards for policy... he’s a liability going forward in parts of the country that we need strong turnout. Mitch McConnell is a liability too...and the mid-term prospects for gaining the Senate are not good. Several GOP seats not running for re-election, Rubio is vulnerable, and flipping is not likely as most up this cycle are in dark blue States. NY, CA, OR, WA, CT, VT, IL. etc. The work now is gaining control of the House in 22. Only two Gov seats open in 2021... NJ and VA.... NJ flip is possible... it seems NJ goes Red when the White House goes Blue.
“Farage formed his party over a single issue,”
Not entirely true. The UKIP was/is in large a party that brought issues that favored the UK. Brexit being the main issue being that most everything was tied to the Euro cabal.
RE: It is time to ignore this cowardly empty suit.
Who are you referring to?
If he starts it I’m in it.
Can’t trust the swamp republicans.
MAGA !!!
I am referring to the cowardly lion, Orange Man. When someone betrays me, they only get to do the once.
I guessed forty million, thenapply the weighting algorithm of 1.35 to 1 and he has a roughly fifty million in the count. Now switch another ten million from Trump to biden (applying the weighting) and bidan counts at roughly 65 mill;ion. Add the counterfeit ballots for another 12 million (applying the weighting) and you get biden’s count, roughly .... with only forty million licit votes.
BTW, trump count is around 75 million. Divide that number by the weighting factor of .65 and we see that Trump got many more than 70 million licit votes. The weighting algorithm is real and is an advertised function available to whomever has the internet connections and the thumb drives to ‘upgrade’ the cheat machines.
Impy and I have felt the same way about this. A "third party" at this point can do nothing but hurt us.
This feels so surreal for me, having expected the worse in 2016 and then getting the best possible outcome (complete rejection of Hilderbeast), then expected the best possible outcome in 2020 (the RATS pissing away their chance to "beat Trump" by nominating someone even OLDER and dirtier than Trump), then getting the worst case scenario (RATS outright steal "conservative" states like Georgia with zero opposition from the GOP, and install a puppet regime over this country)
>> I’m pissed that he pardoned Kwayme. Kwayme’s contract people he used for his election was used by WHITMER this year. I’m pissed that Bannon was pardoned after he stole wall money that was MAGA donations. I’m pissed he pardoned SNOOP dogs friend as SNOOP hated Trump and demeaned him the last 4 years. <<
Honestly, these "pardons" suck so much I'm beginning to wonder if Al Sharpton handed Obama a suggested list of "last minute pardon proposals" in Jan. 2017, Obama reviewed the list with notes like:
"Kwami Kilpatrick (delivered the black vote BIG in Michigan! Has contacts for GOOD drugs!)"
Obama wrote "Too risky" on the list, and quietly filed it away in a drawer. Then four years later, Trump misplaced his own list, was frantically searching for the paperwork to sign before the deadline, pulled Obama's "Too risky" list of scumbags from the bottom of the drawer, and (mistaking it for his own "list") quickly signed it without reading it.
Thanks! Several of his recent videos have been very helpful for these times.
How did he betray you?
I’m in...
Some readers will smile when they see I’m posting in this thread, it’s basically the same question I posed about a third party alternative, but now has a name suggested and the endorsement of the man himself. So instead of lukewarm maybe this maybe that, now it’s full speed ahead.
Thought that might happen.
Not totally thrilled with “Patriot Party” and would prefer a less loaded name like American Eagle Party, for one thing that comes with a self-defined animal avatar, but if it would be the Patriot Party, suggest either eagle or mountain lion (cougar to some), or bear perhaps, never quite got how donkeys and elephants were the best choices for American political parties (in particular elephants, although it is true that you would only ever see an elephant in a circus and probably surrounded by freaks, high-wire artists, and droppings of dung, so perhaps quite appropriate.
A donkey or braying ass seems about right for the Democrats though.
The main advantage of a new party is that it can offer undiluted policies, one of which must be complete reform of the voting systems, another the systematic elimination of corruption, and a third, rethinking all aspects of the international relations of the U.S., including with the United Nations and with China.
At some point the critical mass of worthwhile Republican politicians would bleed out and join the new party. At that time, what’s left of the GOP will be a corpse, down around 5% in the opinion polls. It will become a better way to identify globalist centrists than anything else.
A really well designed Patriot Party could start siphoning votes away from the Democrats too. Not the dead people or multiple voters, those will stay loyal. Just actual living Democrats. Hey maybe even Michael Moore will join and eat his words.
We already have a Constitution Party with an outstanding platform.
L8R.
L8R.
Then We Change the rules.
RULE #1 Nobody from either of the existing r or d parties may join the Patriot Party. Those POSSCUMBAG ANTIQUATED parties may NOT join the New Patriot Party, NO EXCEPTIONS !!!
RULE #2 The Patriot Party will be made up of People that are not Professional Politician’s. They will need to be Joe and Jane Public.
Rule #3 Nobody may be in Office more than 2 Terms. Based on the existing term’s set by the U.S. Constitution for the House of Representatives and the Senate.
Rule #4 NO PERKS, NO CASH PAY OFFS, NO GIFTS, NO LOBBYING, NO ANYTHING !!!
I’m open to more ideas but let’s try to keep things simple and basic.
