What’s living in South Dakota like?
Wish I knew. I have a house in WV though which is a pretty fantastic red state.
Mountainous. Gorgeous.

It’s beautiful. Wide open spaces, great hunting and fishing.
It totally depends on which side of the state you live in.
East versus west.
The black hills are beautiful. Clean air and great people.
Warning, it can be cold but in the first weekend in June you could stand under the colossus face of Crazy Horse
Does it get above freezing in the Summer or am I thinking of North Dakota?
I don’t know - but my wife wants to move there!
I wouldn’t mind - except it would need to be for retirement I think. Or I could be a janitor somewhere. The Black Hills sure are nice. Good hunting in the plains to the east as well.
Living in S. Dakota is glorious! No ridiculous shutdowns or mask mandates, a red-hot economy, and a great Governor.
Yes, there are some RINO pukes in Congress and the Senate but this is quite pleasant. No state income tax or inventory taxes either.
