Noem calls Ossoff, Warnock ‘communists’ in her national speech

PIERRE, S.D. (KELO) — Governor Kristi Noem called newly elected Senators Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock, both Democrats from Georgia, “communists” in her speech this week at the Republican National Committee, according to a condensed copy of the speech published Friday by the Federalist.

“The idea that Georgia, of all places, could elect two communists to the United States Senate was ridiculous,” Noem said in her speech.

Noem’s speech also referred to indoctrination of the leftist agenda in schools with children from aged 5 to 22, said that the Republican Party was the only party that respects Americans as human beings and doesn’t divide people based on religion or roots.

It totally depends on which side of the state you live in.
East versus west.
The black hills are beautiful. Clean air and great people.
Warning, it can be cold but in the first weekend in June you could stand under the colossus face of Crazy Horse

From what I have heard, yes. *Cold keeps out the riff raff. 😉

We might be thinking of North Dakota.

It’s really not that hard to see why. In the past 30 years, the Democrat party changed from a blue collar working man’s party to a urban minority racial grievance-mongering party. In WV, there’s the added aspect of Democrats expressly wanting to destroy the livelihoods of coal workers in pursuit of their eco-cult.

Manchin won re-election by his fingernails trying to make the case to all of these old Democrats that he’s different, but I don’t see how he wins again in 2024. The national party is just too toxic back at home. He also voted to impeach Trump once, though he’s indicated that he won’t again.

If anyone is looking to relocate based primarily on who runs a particular state...one should definitely consider how long a state has had a (R) "trifecta." Governor, and both state reps and senators in the hands of the republicans.

Top 5:

Nebraska Republican trifecta 1999
Idaho Republican trifecta 1995
North Dakota Republican trifecta 1995
South Dakota Republican trifecta 1995
Utah Republican trifecta 1985

North Dakota is a very stable “republican” state. See post #27.

I’m with you!

I’ve been a Noem supporter since the sumner!

Also would support Jim Jordan for President. I would trust him to hell and back! But, I would be in Heaven with Kristi,

DeSantis - Noem - Pompeo... All are great candidates for 2024 if Donald Trump doesn’t run again.

Interesting. Do you think a lot of conservative Virginians left VA and moved to West Virginia over the past few years?

I don’t think so. Virginia is blue now but the laws haven’t quite caught up with the kind of people running the state government. They kicked around a gun ban but got worried that it might cause VA to fall to Trump and tabled it for a while.

With WV, it’s mostly just a bunch of country Democrats who realized their party went to crazy town and started voting Republican.

I don’t know - but my wife wants to move there!

I wouldn’t mind - except it would need to be for retirement I think. Or I could be a janitor somewhere. The Black Hills sure are nice. Good hunting in the plains to the east as well.

Living in S. Dakota is glorious! No ridiculous shutdowns or mask mandates, a red-hot economy, and a great Governor.

Yes, there are some RINO pukes in Congress and the Senate but this is quite pleasant. No state income tax or inventory taxes either.
