That’s easy to say with a government income. Pence would be a good politician in a Pollyanna world. He should look beyond his haughty, comfortable, anti-private-sector class once in a while.
It truly is our darkest hour. And Pence sounds hollow and insincere spouting vapid platitudes.
When Reagan said it, it was true. But that was in another country in another time. Not true anymore. America is now longer the America during the time of Reagan.
What was his reception from the troops?
He may be under the delusion that those over 70 millions voters actually voted for HIM rather that President Trump. He doesn’t realize he was just along for the ride.

I’d say he got a smattering of light applause. And he tried really hard for that with a cloying story about the question his little seven-year-old asked him immediately after 9-11. “Are you going to have to go to war, Daddy?” She stamped her two little feet to make him answer, her big brown eyes looked at him beseechingly, her little heart was sad, said Daddy Pence. Jeesh, it was stomach-churning and typical Pence who is a master of obsequious, unctuous remarks.
In addition, he gave Trump no credit at all for focusing on helping veterans and reforming VA healthcare. He only referred to their commander-in-chief. Trump wasn’t even named. Pence is in love with himself—all that perfect white hair, carefully coifed; and his boyish face. He thinks he’ll have a future once the dust settles and Trump is gone. He’d better think again.
He didn't have the courage to do it or he abdicated his Constitutional duty for some other reason.
No, he is not a good guy.
VP Pence is full of crap. No Nation that God has withdrawn His Blessing from has prospered. No Nation that has forsaken God has prospered. No Nation that has kicked God out of its activities has prospered. No Nation that has mocked God has prospered. The Democrat Party policies as outlined during the campaign will send the United States of America back to the Dark ages. America’s best days are behind her. When America refused to have a honest man who respected God in favor a thief and and individual that mocks had hates God. And via their votes stated that they wanted to be led by the Party of Satan, they turned their backs on God, who in turn turned His back on America. No, Mr. VP Pence America’s best days are not in front of her. What is in store for her[America] is pain and suffering that she has never known. But she will. Mr. Pence, It is funny to you now, but soon your jeers will be replaced with tears. And the bitter weeping wailing will begin. To no avail.
