Carbon County is home of Rawlins, the state prison. It is also home to Sinclair, a company town with the oldest continuously operating oil refinery in the Rocky Mountain West.
Just east of Sinclair is the townsite of Benton, the Terminus of the Union Pacific Railroad in 1868. The last settlers to arrive by wagon train along the Oregon and Mormon Trails departed from Benton that year.
U.S. Grant even made a campaign stop here during the 1868 Presidential Election even though the nearest eligible voters would have come from Nebraska.

Democrats are terrified that carrying a failing Biden administration into 2024, with an awful standard-bearer like Kamala Harris at the forefront, is a recipe for a Trump resurgence. Of course, if they were smart, they’d let this impeachment nonsense go. Perhaps Trump gets bored and decides he’d rather play golf for the rest of his days? But if you poke the bear, don’t be surprised when he bites. This is only going to fire up Trump and his supporters more to make another go at it.

This just means she’s cut a lucrative deal for herself after her present term is up. She won’t be winning anymore elections in Wyoming. She’s deep state all the way.
