"This is a great day in our household. This is not a political statement. This is a statement of unity," Brooks said. He wouldn't divulge which songs he was considering playing but added that he won't be playing "We Shall Be Free" as he played it during President Obama's 2008 inauguration. Brooks was also asked to perform during President Trump's 2016 inauguration, but mentioned that he couldn't do it as he had a tour date.
Prior to Monday's announcement, Brooks had three dates on his touring calendar, beginning with a Feb. 27 show in Las Vegas, where he's scheduled to be the first major performer at the new Allegiant Stadium."
Here’s a quote from Barf Brooks I just saw on Twitter:
“as long as you have people like the Bidens who are hell bent on making things good ... they’re for that, that makes me feel good because I want to spend the next ten years of my life not being divided. I’m so tired of being divided.”
Imagine the cancel mob if it were a Trump inaugural and an artist announced that they were playing there.
Maybe it’s time for conservatives to cancel Garth by not buying his work and let the libs know that this cuts both ways.
I hate cancel culture, but unless the other side gets a taste of it, it will never end.
Of course, I also advocate conservatives leaving Twitter, but it appears the famous ones like the abuse for some masochistic reason.
And his music sucks too.
That butterball can’t hump the left enough.
Before Trump’s inaugural in 2016, the blind Italian songbird Andrea Bocelli had agreed to perform. He received so many death threats to him and his family that he had to back out. I don’t blame him but I do credit the artists like Sam & Dave, Michael Flatley and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir who did perform in such an atmosphere of hate generated by too many of the President’s opponents.
“And I used to think Communist country singer was an oxymoron.”
Country isn’t what it used to be, and the fan base is almost the same as it is for top 40. Young, indoctrinated kids.
Heck, today’s country is top 40.
You can throw Trisha in the same arena.
He can just FOAD...for all I care.
I don’t think they’ll both fit.
Screw garth.
How thrilling.
Wow that's some chutzpah right thar.
Hey Garp, if you're gonna point your short stubby fingers, "ten years" covers Xiden as VP, you rube.
Also Garp, if you're "so tired of being divided", why did you f over Sandy Mahl Brooks, you dumb, philandering, fat hillbilly.
Garth, the 4 note range vocalist.
Adios Garf. You really DO have friends in low places.
Wow, he really does have friends in low places! Trmunulimadaprzure!
Or “Shameless”
“And I used to think Communist country singer was an oxymoron.”
I take it you’ve never heard of Steve Earle?
I know 75,000,000 people who ain’t gonna like this.
Oooh, not me, strat. Love me some cancel culture. If you knew that #MeToo took out 10:1 ratio Leftard:Right, I mean we shed ourselves of 8 NPR sexcapaders, including Garrison Keillor, who in turn ineptly tried to defend Al Franken and out he went too. We took down Weinstein, Matt Lauer, Kevin Spacey, many many many other MSM/Hollyweird Leftists. It ain't over.
Garth Brooks is a totally FAKE person.
