Back a couple of months ago, I had an email conversation with a former Army JAG captain (now LTC in JAG reserves) that I worked with in my last assignment in the Army before my retirement in 1992. We worked together at the Fort Benning, GA Trial Defense Service Office, the office that defends the bad boys and girls in the military from courts-martial, administrative actions, Article 15 nonjudicial punishments for lesser offenses, etc.

I had sent him an email regarding the election and to my stunned surprise he sent me a return email ranting about Trump and his love of Biden. I was totally shocked. It was not the guy I knew back then talking. Now he had completely changed, under the Klinton, GW Bush, Obammy era's over the military, man had he changed.

Well I sent him a return and told him he was full of crap and that what he was planning to vote for would change this Republic FOREVER, not just four or eight years, but the damages done would be unrepairable!!! I let him have it.

Yesterday, I sent him another email. I told him I hoped he was happy over seeing what Biden and his gang of Marxist's thug criminals were now doing around the country, shutting down conservatives, calling Christians "Christian Insurrectionists" and responsible for the riot at the Capital on Jan 6th. I told him I hoped he was happy and that this was my final email to him and that I was done with him. I told him that he very disappointed me and that I could not believe what has happened to him over the past 30 years over the young captain I knew back in the late 80's and early 90's. I told him he was, in a word, a disappointment. Enjoy your new life Steve. You made it. You will have to live with it. FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.

The guy and his wife have two children, probably middle to late teens now. Both were hugely affected by autism in a really bad way. His wife actually had to quit her very high paying job and stay home to take care of the first child and then the second. They stopped trying to have kids after that. Figured somehow they were jinxed. I told him his and his decision were going to affect his children in the long run. I felt sorry for him. How could someone that was an American loving, conservative guy, turn into what he has become. The dreaded liberal, socialist, demented gene runs through many I guess. Damned sad.
