Let's all communicate to President Trump that he could find a home here.
You go to the URL for the white house https://www.whitehouse.gov/contact/
walk through the contact info, it takes about 3 minutes.
Ask him to join us.
Come back to this thread and tell us all that's what you did.
Nah I’d rather buy one of those 8x10 photos of him with the pasteboard frame for a donation of $100 to $14000.
When he gets around to it.
Our president needs tons of money to fight the coup not hanging on some board.
We give him funds to fight the coup.
We volunteer as his armed self-defense force.
“Are u nuts!?
and flood the site with millions of snowflakes... Nightmare...”
When Monster bought Military.com this is exactly what happened. The new owners removed the requirements that one be military (active, reserve, NG, veteran, or spouse) to be on the site. Once the restrictions were lifted, it was a free for all, and the mods just resorted to heavy handed tactics permanently banning people.
He needs to get the message out on an interactive basis.
All the more reason to license the platform. Put tens of $millions into Jimrob’s pocket, let us continue as we have, but run their own franchise as they see fit and become billionaires.
it was a joke.
Honest, I'm not overlooking it. There are three basic options for someone who's going to invest time and effort in fielding a website. You can:
Anyone who is going to carry the big ball is going to want to make money. That's either advertising, or selling user's information; it sure ain't gonna happen on donations (see: FReepathon). So it stops being like FR from the git-go.
I believe that a potential licensee would look at FR software and see that they have lots of work to do, to make it scalable to a large level, and featureful and monetizable so that it competes with the other modern-looking sites, and they'll say, if we have to do all that work, why license something that needs work (#3), we'll just write our own (#2).
I'm not overlooking your argument. I'm saying the McDonalds analogy doesn't hold. FR's software isn't hamburgers. I believe that licensing FR software just doesn't make business sense for the licensee.
But that's just my opinion. See if you can get JimRob to license JohnRob's software to you, and take a run at it. If it makes business sense, you'll be able to make that case and get a loan or venture capital to make it happen.
Good luck. Really, no /sarc. I'm always willing to be proven wrong.
“That’s the best way to shut down FR and deplatform us.”
////////////////////////////////
Agree.
I never say anything about FR on twitter.
Take care of yourself, your family, and do not worry about these little selfish men.
I have no words to adequately describe my respect for DJT.
I’ve been privileged to share the company of truly great men in my life and he is right up there with them.
He could have remained among the privileged rats of our society free of any worries - but he took on our fight and has been targeted for ruin by those who wish us harm.
The idea that he somehow owes us anything makes me want to puke in the faces of any who think so.
I am sure he expects no reward from us.
None have the right to demand that he do the kind of idiotshit some clamor for.
Declare martial law! Call out the milit- shuh uh the whatever um army uh you know! Wah you aren’t doing enough fast enough yah yah yah!
We need to serve him honorably as he served us.
Supply him with funds for defense of his family from vengeful scum.
If need place ourselves between him and harm.
and pay no heed to selfish men and cowards.
I doubt I could make it work, because I’m not a software dude I’m a hardware dude.
But Trump could make it work. Why not accept his money and nod at him when he winks at us in the future?
The key to making it work isn’t to add more features to the software hamburger. It is to keep features to a minimum and retain that lightning fast loadup speed that FR retains.
All the more reason to license the platform like the McDonald brothers did. Jimrob is leaving money on the table that should be his.
We might already be on it.
For those able and so inclined, you can help our leader by supporting his businesses.
I’m putting aside what I used to spend on man toys and amusements to help him out.
“When monster bought Military.com...”
That shows you aren’t paying attention. Ray Kroc did not buy the McDonald brothers’ restaurants. He bought the rights to use their platform, their NAME.
The McDonald brothers continued as they wanted to, in their labor of love serving 2 restaurants. No one would have known who they were but for the force of the guy who bought the rights to use their NAME, their platform.
It’s time for the FR name to live on in franchise history, time for jimrob to get his tens of $millions, and let those guys who wanna play big ball play their big ball games.
I’m not a software dude, so about half of what you said
went over my head.
But I have noticed on other cheap sites that there are plenty of dropdown menu options for using html coding. That would be one of the features I would add to a licensed FR platform, if I could. Would if I could.....
+1
I can see it now.........
The President: “Hmmm I think I’ll read this Q Thread.”
............10 minutes later...........
The President: “Mod please delete my account! Those people scare me!”
I opened up a new thread to discuss this licensing platform idea.
