Some times when you grab for the BIG MONEY. Taking it, bites you in the posterior.

May this be the end of Liz Cheney's "political career".

Has there been a serious recall movement started yet?

I’m not talking about just a bunch of online polls, I mean a real, get signatures of registered voters on a ballot petition effort?

The Supreme Court decided in U.S. Term Limits, Inc. v. Thornton that the states never gave themselves the express constitutional power to recall federal lawmakers, and must therefore respect constitutionally enumerated term limits.

Unsurprisingly, the states seemingly forgot about their Article V power to amend the Constitution to give themselves recall power.

So patriots need to work with their state lawmakers to amend the Constitution to give states recall power, repealing the 16th and ill-conceived 17th Amendments while they’re at it.

As with so many ex govt employees in high office, the Cheney family is far wealthier than most Americans. I continue to ponder why these super wealthy persons do not just find another way to amuse themselves than supporting the communist democrats and their efforts to destroy this Republic. Romney and Cheney are doing the job they were sent to do. Obstruct Pres Trump at every opportunity and deliver this Republic to the communists whom they apparently have a connection to. The Repub party has aided and supported them both, along with the other Rinos who lied about their support of the party. None have been thrown out of the party for their support of the communists. The Repub party will eventually, sooner than later, have to decide what makes them different than the communist democrat party which is dedicated to the total destruction of this Republic and all that has made America the greatest nation this world has ever seen. A reckoning is about here for the GOP. Let us know why you deserve the support of lifelong members. Hold these liars to account or take down you shingle.

Short memories.

By 2022, the carpetbagger will easily win re-election.

C’mon Wyoming. Mount her head on a pike figuratively in the next election. There are several RINOs we need to bag and she’s high up on the list.

She won’t care.

She’ll be given some highly paid sinecure and/or book deal, then will laugh all the way to the bank.

It’s essential that we make every traitor lose in 2022 and help every loyal Republican win. Even if it meant control of the House or Senate the message that you can’t backstab us and get away with it needs to be clear. In short: Loyal Republican > Democrat > Lincoln Project Reject. It’s not even good enough to vote 3rd party, if it’s a traitor on the ticket vote Democrat to defeat them (I have never once voted Democrat but I would if they tried to make me vote for a Cheney or Murkowski).

US takes back its assertion that Capitol rioters wanted to 'capture and assassinate' officials

CNN Digital Expansion 2018 Katelyn Polantz

By Katelyn Polantz, CNN

Updated 5:46 PM ET, Fri January 15, 2021

(CNN)Justice Department prosecutors have formally walked back their assertion in a court filing that said Capitol rioters sought to "capture and assassinate elected officials."

A federal prosecutor in Arizona asked a magistrate judge in a hearing on Friday to strike the line in a recent court filing about defendant Jacob Anthony Chansley, a man who is alleged to have led some in the crowd in the first wave into the Capitol with a bullhorn while carrying a spear and wearing a fur headdress.

The entire line the prosecutors want to omit from their court filing is: "Strong evidence, including Chansley's own words and actions at the Capitol, supports that the intent of the Capitol rioters was to capture and assassinate elected officials in the United States Government."

The stunning move comes a few hours after Michael Sherwin, the acting US attorney in Washington, DC, said at a press conference there was "no direct evidence of kill and capture teams" at this time in the siege of the Capitol building.

Sure, but ...

1) She'll have a lot more money than any challenger.

2) If there's more than one challenger the anti-Cheney vote will be split. Wyoming doesn't have a run-off so she could get well under a majority in the primary and still get the nomination.

3) You can't beat somebody with nobody. You need to find a candidate who is convincing and has popular appeal and unite behind that candidate.

4) If she does get the nomination, do you seriously want the seat to go to a Democrat?
