That is what I would expect to happen, but around here you
always hear that everyone moving in is voting for Communists.
When Californians leave their state, does anyone really think
they are voting for the B.S. the people in California have
been voting for?
If I leave, it will be to escape the stench in California.
I have never voted for Communist ideology and I’m not going
to start in the future.

Austin has always been a "flower child" city since the 60's. Once you step outside the city limits though, it's mostly hardcore conservative. Go checkout Giddings, TX. It's considered a bedroom community to Austin. If you're not a church-goer, they will hound you until you do.
