Is this really newsworthy if the guy is in a 2-bit local band most people don’t know?

Listen up, Mr. Wray! Our fugitive has been on the run for a few days now. Average foot speed from the Capitol, barring injury, is 4 miles an hour which gives us a radius of many miles! What I want out of you is a hard target search of every gas station, residence, warehouse, farmhouse, henhouse, outhouse and doghouse in that area. Checkpoints go up at 15 miles! After police let everone in, the man’s mouth was agape. Go get him.
It’s a big heavy metal band.

I wonder...are they arresting people the police let in? How does that work ?

No, they aren’t that big. I was surprised to find out how long they’ve been a band, though, since 1984.
I remember Tim Owens, who replaced Rob Halford in Judas Priest briefly, was in that band for maybe five years when Halford went back to Priest.
They’ve sold millions of albums and are internationally known. Plus he’s a patriot

Iced Earth is a great band.
“Iced Earth” isn’t a two bit local band. They are very well known amongst Metal fans worldwide.
In fact, just a few days ago, I posted one of their songs on FR.
The name of the song is “Dystopia”. It was released in 2012, but the lyrics are eerily similar to today’s events. The song even includes the words” your vaccinated fate”.
I saw that on the news years ago. Tim Owens was a cubicle farm worker who played in a Judas Priest cover band. So when Halford left, and the band held auditions, Owens participated and won the slot of lead singer. His stage name was Ripper Owens, said first name being in honor of a Judas Priest song, IIRC.
