A pro-President Trump heavy metal guitarist has been identified as one of the US Capitol rioters, according to a report.
Multiple sources told the Indianapolis Star Wednesday that one of the suspects in the deadly Jan. 6 siege is Jon Schaffer, a founding member of a Florida-based heavy metal band called Iced Earth who is originally from central Indiana.
Schaffer has not been charged with a federal crime as of early Friday, an FBI source confirmed to The Post.
But several people have identified him as the man seen with his mouth agape in an FBI poster seeking out the rioters who “made unlawful entry” into the Capitol

Gotta love how it’s now morphed from “riot” to “deadly siege”. Wondering what they’ll be calling it by next Wednesday.
These guys just made it worse for all of us.
They were egged on by the left and fell into a political ambush.
The protest ended when the battle with the cops began.
Unfortunately all of us are going to pay a steep price for their stupidity.

Breaking into the halls of Congress was just about the stupidest move anyone could make. The Dems were counting on it. The leftists led the charge and pissed off Trump supporters followed like lambs to the slaughter.
Sometimes there is a fine line between Patriot and Idiot. These people crossed the line.

There’s one band I recall from the 70s called “Lucifer’s Friend” that included (briefly) a French horn, on a song called “Ride The Sky”; the horn line was evocative of Led Zeppelin’s “Immigrant Song”. LF’s singer, John Lawton, replaced David Byron in Uriah Heep.

I still remember the AC-DC song from their first album, “It’s a Long Way to the Top if you Wanna Rock and Roll.” That one featured bagpipes. I suppose a young Bill Barr could’ve cameoed with them.
Can’t blame them the same. Because if the media, Congress, states and corporations weren’t supporting the BLM riots, none of this probably would have happened.
