Sure, let me put on my MAGA hat and go out and talk to some lefties about the state of the country. I’ll let you know how it goes and if I have any teeth left afterwards.

There are no ‘easy’ steps.
There’s no voting our way out of this.

1. Get rid of Democrats
2. Get rid of Progressives
3. Get rid of Communists
Any one of the above will accomplish the other 2.

I wonder who's funding Town Hall now that nobody is buying their dinosaur swamp-trash. Nothing but a bunch of lazy establishment, metro opinionoids.
At least we could pick up dog s**t with the print version. Digitally they're worse than useless.

Problem is that they don’t play fair. They lie cheat and steal. Then call you names. Now they are getting violent. And staging things to set us up. So yeah.

The first step is for those in positions of power to realize how frustrated and unhappy many Americans are. Oh good grief. Another Pollyanna who thinks the Left is just "misguided."

I see nothing in the article about investigating and then prosecuting the fraud that has despoiled US elections for decades, but is now openly practiced with wild and joyous abandon by the left.
This whole article’s point is “get used to it”.

I have no interest in fixing this country. In fact, I don't even recognize what the hell it has become. My ancestors who fought in America's wars wouldn't have even bothered getting out of bed and picked up a gun to fight if they could have seen what we've become.
I'm a free and independent man.

FWIW, I don’t watch cable news, and I refuse to read any left leaning newspaper, since I already know what they are going to print.
I do speak with people outside my bubble, but I have yet to convince any of them of any of our thinking, because to them socialism is their religion and that requires conversion, to Christ and/or Locke and/or Aristotle, all of whom are verboten in their religion.

Globalism, automation and all that comes with them are an amazing boon for a tiny number of Americans, and they are causing a lot of pain for a great many more.

Our elites (both parties) like it this way.
It will get worse, not better.
They just cheated out of office the one man who was trying to make things better for everyone.

NO!! It's this stupidity that got us where we are today!
When all government ...in little as in great things... shall be drawn to Washington as the center of all power; it will render powerless the checks provided of one government on another, and will become as venal and oppressive as the government from which we separated." -- Thomas Jefferson, 1821

I was okay with #1, but when you suggested reading WaPo & NYTimes I knew this was leftist BS. Then you wanted people to step out of their bubble? People are losing their jobs because they are stating their objection to the oppression of Free Speech. And you have bad Americans spying on other Americans to see if their following COVID mandates.
No voice, no vote, no law, no justice!

Yep. And I sure as hell am not paying to get across their paywall.
I don't even do that for my local (leftist edited) rag of a paper.
