Sorry, but any comparison between the trials of Christ our Lord and ANY contemporary human is outrageous to me. We may or may not be living in the end times, but there is NO excuse for comparing the trials of our Lord and some politician
You’re obviously too Holy for this forum.
Then you need to discover what is written.... 1 Peter 4:12-19 Clearly tells us....."Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice insofar as you *share Christ's sufferings*, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed"....
Lighten up Francis.
Oh really? Well your Christ told me in red letter text that his followers would face the same things that happened to him:
John 15:20-21 Keep in mind the words I said to you, A servant is not greater than his lord. If they were cruel to me, they will be cruel to you; if they kept my words, they will keep yours. They will do all this to you because of my name--because they have no knowledge of him who sent me.
So why would He say that if He DID NOT want us to compare what happened to us, to what happened to Him.
DOCTRINAL AND GENERAL BIBLE KNOWLEDGE FAIL!
