President Donald Trump will wield his fortune and name to help Republicans flip the House of Representatives during the next nationwide election, an adviser said on Jan. 14.
“President Trump is going to make sure we get the House back in 2022,” Jason Miller, a Trump campaign adviser, said.
“He’s got a ton of money. He’s the biggest name. He’s going to get that done.”
Miller was speaking on Steve Bannon’s “War Room.” Bannon is a former Trump strategist.
Trump’s plans after leaving office, which he’s scheduled to do next week, are unclear. He has posited starting a company to rival Twitter and other social media companies, but said little else about what he plans to do.
Republicans surprised many by flipping 14 House seats in the 2020 election, cutting Democrats’ majority to 10 from 35. That sets them up for a favorable 2022, if things break right.

That's a mighty big if.
The Obama Administration was fervently incompetent in this area, and I see nothing to suggest the Biden Administration will be anything but much worse. Plus, we are starting from a point worse than early 2009, IMO, in that more REAL wealth and productivity has been lost. I saw (I think here on FR?) an estimate that the US economy had lost over 19 trillion dollars. I suspect ripple effects will continue to propagate, and, it's a sure thing that COVID-19 restrictions & mitigation will continue to hamper the economy for a few more months, even if lightened up somewhat. Then add in the rest of the Dims agenda.
Revenge is a wine best tasted cold.
Flipping the house is a moot point now....GOP just lost a massive # of generational voters over the way Trump was treated. To me it would seem like choosing between China or North Korea.
No way for GOP to ever, ever win any blue state office . . . enough ballots will be printed and filled out to keep all GOP candidates out of office.
You’d have to be an idiot to ignore what just happened. Plus add to that the influx of illegal aliens and the multi-million illegal aliens already here that will soon receive citizenship, there is no way we’ll ever be able to win any office in any blue states.
Jan 6, 2021, when Pence stabbed Trump right in the back, signaled the last day that our country was a republic.
Dear freepers,
Please be attuned to grifters who are going to try to tap into your love for Donald Trump and MAGA for their own purposes and future fundraising.
And the GOP establishment knows that. So they and the Democrats will do everything they can to make sure Trump spends the next two-plus years fighting criminal charges in New York and trying to keep his business afloat. If he's distracted there then that's less time and fewer resources he can devote to supporting candidates.
I Personally don’t give a Da— about 2022. Biden/Harris?Pelosi will have dome far too much damage by then.
Wait...
So after he is BETRAYED by his own party and is forced to leave office, he’s gonna work tirelessly to build that party back better?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!
No. Freaking. Way.
Why, WE would have to be complete morons to ever give power back to those criminals EVER again.
Miller? Creepy guy. Never really sure whose side he’s ultimately on. He’s got the speaking with gravitas act down, but too burrowwd in on too many campaigns for the GOP to trust IMO. Plus of course a poor personal record.
The Republic was over on January 20, 2009 when ALL of our elected AND appointed swore in the ineligible Kenyan from Indonesia in direct violation of the Constitution.
Dream on.
Instead, Republicans flipped 14 House seats, cutting Democrats’ majority to 10 from 35, thus giving
Pelosi a razor-thin margin to conjure up votes especially if some Democrats vote alongside Reublicans.
The House increases sets Republicans up for a favorable 2022, especially if Biden dodders into lefties' stupidity.

Trump has also talked about starting a social media outlet to rival Twitter and the others.
Thanks for the ping.
.
We can only pray that the incredible happens and a handful of Dems timidly, nervously vote honestly against the Dem Socialist agenda (risking careers and maybe their lives) soon.
Hope it is not as rare as finding a three legged deer walking across a golf course.
Recently a clickbait thumbnail on the internet showed a two headed snake born somewhere. Finding a patriotic, honest Dem would be less believable.
Great news, Liz! Thanks for pinging me. There’s a lot to look forward to in the next few years.
Wonder how long Biden’s “wear your mask in your car” mandate is going to last.
I’m still wondering what the best bumper sticker about this election is going to read.
I think the will is there now to primary and defeat every RINO who exists. Yes, that includes you, two-faced Graham. Even six years from now, Trumpers will be pushing to take down.
Good idea.
Liz Cheney suffers impeachment vote blowback at home: ‘Couldn’t win a primary today for dog catcher’

Rep. Liz Cheney’s vote to impeach President Trump put her political future in jeopardy back home in Wyoming, revealed a state GOP official. Doubts quickly surfaced about her viability in the 2022 GOP primary after she announced her support of impeachment and then led nine other House Republicans on Wednesday in voting to impeach Mr. Trump for inciting the deadly Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol.
“She couldn’t win a primary today for dog catcher,” said Martin Kimmet, chairman of the Republican Party in Park County, Wyoming. Ms. Cheney, the No. 3 House Republican leader and the daughter of former VP Dick Cheney, went from a rising star into a political nosedive virtually overnight. “I’ve gotten a lot of phone calls, more than you could count. I have not gotten one in support of what Liz Cheney did,” Mr. Kimmet said. “What she did was wrong. Period.”
