A handful of Republican Georgia state senators, who promoted claims that President-elect Joe Biden was not duly elected, were stripped of their committee chairmanships.
Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan, who is a Republican, made the call on Tuesday, just days into the state legislature's winter session. State Sen. Brandon Beach of Alpharetta was stripped of his role as the chairman of the Transportation Committee, while state Sen. Burn Jones of Jackson was removed as the head of the Insurance and Labor Committee.
Both were completely removed from their respective committees. Meanwhile, state Sen. Matt Brass of Newnan, who was removed as the chairman of the Reapportionment and Redistricting Committee, will instead serve as head of the Banking and Financial Institutions Committee, which the Atlanta Journal-Constitution described as a "lesser posting."
“These committee chairs are uniquely qualified to develop real and lasting solutions aimed at building a better Georgia,” Duncan said in a statement announcing the committee changes. “The Senate will continue to prioritize diligent committee work and sound public policy, and I look forward to working closely with each one of our chairs, and their committee members, as we work to enact policies that advance both the lives and livelihoods of all Georgians.”
All three GOP state lawmakers promoted the president's claims that the election was rigged in Georgia and in other battleground states that went for Biden. Not every senator who supported or backed such claims, which have been dismissed by federal and state officials as well as rejected by the courts, received committee demotions.

How can someone in the executive branch remove someone in the legislative branch? There are or should be separation of power issues involved in this.
Lt Governor is a state wide office. I’ll get the chance to vote against him, along with Kemp and the rat.
In some state constitutions the Lt. Governor is in charge of the Senate. It's that way in Texas too.

This Georgia voter is now an activist. Primary out all seared republican goof-balls pronto!!
They will put up several against each of them in the primary. We will have to contend with Democrats in the GOP primary as well. I will vote libertarian if Kemp and gang win the primary. Used to be GOP had a big edge in run off elections, but not with mail voting. Some conservatives will not vote Kemp and gang in run off and they won’t vote for a conservative so the GOP loses either way. As long as a conservative doesn’t win, that is OK with the ruling class.

If there are 14 State Senators who care about the future, they should declare themselves independent and refuse to caucus with the Republican Party.
Send a detailed letter outlining the backstabbing from the Republican leadership along with details describing the election decisions (Which started months before the election) on the Republican led Executive branch and the false/broken promises made in verifying the election had integrity.
If not, keep on being cucks to individuals that get their jollies off usurping your power.
To those of you who are party loyalists who voted for RINOs because they were the lesser of two evils...how is everything working out for you? Do you still think the Republican party can be reformed into a more conservative party?
