Some of those Republicans who voted to impeach may have their eyes on Senate/ Governor seats in blue states. They may believe by voting to impeach they will have a better chance.
Such a mistake by the house folks who voted for this impeachment. I don’t mind everyone saying this was outrageous (as it truly was) and it should never have happened but to impeach at this point is ridiculous and is all designed to split the conservatives.
