I wouldn’t be surprised if I went forward in a time machine to 2025 and read FR threads totally accepting the “fact” that Putin put Trump in power and that Trump was the most racist, sexist, homophobic POTUS in history.

Agreed. I don't know what's up this. IMO a lot of conservatives simply can't face the reality of the situation we're in, now that we're staring corporate fascism with a gloss of PC rouge in the face.
