Ironically that would be the same day they’re going to officially install Joe Biden supposedly

People argue whether or not it is constitutional, but the Senate put to trial a person who was impeached and tried after resigning his secretary of war post. 1837.
If the Senate convicts, there is no place to get the decision reviewed. Congress has total power in this area.
