But I haven't bought any firearms since it was issued. But with recent events I'm finally gonna buy one...if for no other reason than to say to Plugs,Heels Up and others BLEEP YOU! The problem is my lawyer says that Massachusetts has a million laws on the books that can land someone like me in state prison if I even look at someone the wrong way. And there's a whackjob in my building who's always calling the cops for noise and other things...she's called about me several times but not since I got my permit.I must admit that my lawyer's warnings, along with my whackjob neighbor, scare me a bit.
Also, anyone have recommendations? Glock? Sig Sauer? S&W?
Move.
Have you considered moving to a 'gun-friendly' state or city?
Brand is not the real issue at this point, availability is. Buy what you are able to, as long as they'll sell you a box of ammo to feed it. Otherwise, good luck finding that ammo.
You will pay dearly for ammo, when you can find it.
You can never have enough training and much of it can be dry fire.
You law abiding citizen, you. How dare you follow the law. Do you think criminals follow the law? You must think you are normal or something.
I agree. It is completely unconstitutional. What part of "shall not be infringed" don't they understand? Pretty clear to me what the meaning is.
A 4” Ruger GP-100 or LCR in .357 Magnum is a good choice. Wheelguns are “old-fashioned” and not as threatening (according to how liberals “think”).
Get a striker fired operation system where every trigger pull is the same.
Take some defensive handgun training courses and develop effective skills. "You don't know what you don't know."
Ammo may be scarce and $$$, but training is invaluable.
