There were several common themes on Twitter in the hours following the attacks on the U.S. Capitol: Capitol Police were either in on it (people who didn’t need to be responsible when it came to the accuracy of their postings) or simply let the protesters do what they would (people who had to maintain some vestige of responsibility).
The implication is different based on who’s tweeting it, of course.
From liberals, it’s a sign that this is indicative of police employing a different tactic against rioting Trump supporters than they did against other rioters this summer during the Black Lives Matter protests. For conservatives, the implication is that this is all a setup. Yet both seem to think it’s prima facie obvious that the Capitol Police let people in.

One of the Trump supporters was trampled - were the people let in to take pressure off the crowd?
LOL...PROPAGANDIST’S narrative falling apart like CCP toy.
It wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows - here is video of Trump supporters viciously beating a policeman:

Good question. Regardless, it cannot be illegal storming if they were waved in.
How do you know they are Trump supporters?
Not Trump supporters
Those are antifa
STFU unless you can identify any of these people in the video as “Trump supporters”.
Jerk
A total narrative written in advance with the idea there would be chaos and destruction.
There wasn’t but they will push the narrative as if it happened anyway.
The Jussie Smollett hoax is an earlier example of it, meant to have propped up Kamala Harris after her “anti-lynching bill” was proposed.
2 busses of Antifa dressed as Trump supporters arrived at 1 PM. All the violence is done by them.
Who knows who they are? Also, who is the woman lying on the steps next to the police officer? People appear to be trying to help her. Was she the woman who was trampled?
Obviously. Headgear, outfits, equipment on belt. Not an ordinary MAGA looking participant.
Waterboard those involved in violence and get to the allegiance question.
Quite frankly, I think you’re full of shit.
/.02
I think you need to do some studying about Antifa.
Then, spend some time around actual Trump supporters for the purpose of learning what they’re like, and reject your current media-induced impressions.
If you know anyone who thinks Trump supporters would beat someone like that, have them take an IQ test.
It is a damn good question, cause John Sullivan, an outspoken left-wing activist, who is a proponent of violence, was photographed in the Capitol building next to the woman who was shot. Also many back packs and helmets which are the ANTIFA trademarks were seen, and they are not really worn by MAGAs. There was also the video of a window breaker, and MAGA people screaming “ANTIFA” at them. This video is likely to be buried.
Safe prediction: FBI will not find one ANTIFA/BLM in the building.
The Capital Building is one of the most secure buildings on earth, and the front door was open. If the Sgt. at Arms and his bosses wanted it locked down it would have been locked down.
Well, in the spirit of letting BLM do their thing, they decided to do the same for the Trump rally.
They were afraid they get called on, if they did anything. The Ferguson effect in works.
If you're there to protect the building, and the people in it, are you going to open the door so that masses of people can enter, no matter what is going on, on the other side of the door?
I doubt it.
The video I saw didn't show anybody being squeezed or crushed. They just let people in.
Add to that, if you open the door and let people in to the tight spaces in the Capitol, there's a greater chance of people rushing the entrance and causing a stampede.
Crowd control failure (or great success, depending on point of view).
A million tourists moving in a herd with mob-trained Antifa giving some of the direction.
