These are the Top 20 IRC servers, they are ALL multi grouped globally.

Meaning that each of those listed has alternate servers in global locations that are updated in real time....

I will look and list the best MIRC programs for connection.

MIRC was the first standard connection program platform to link to these chat servers.

There are now many well produced IRC programs and apps that bring a level of security.

If you do not use a VPN, even a free one, or use TOR, apps, then as always what you send is what all can see.

Blessings to all... am doing this asap... These programs are easy ok... am talking to those of you taht are my age or younger... if you have questions I will answer in PM or online here as fast as I can, or someone else will help if I am offline...

YOU are not alone, We are with you.

respects

Ralf

Each IRC network consists of one or more IRC servers that form a virtual chat network together. The communication on these virtual chat networks is based on the IRC protocol. According to this you talk about IRC networks. Users that are connected via directly or crabwise connected servers are able to chat together. – Here you see the 100 largest and most popular IRC networks that take part in netsplit.de’s comparison, but please consider that there are still some big IRC networks that are out of competition!

simplified old school descriptions

VPN... Virtual Private network

a program sets up a connection between you and the VPN host server means that your data still goes through like before but it now is encrypted untill it goes out from the VPN server to here.

Your provider only sees your connected, he does not see what your doing.

Your data IS being seen by the VPN server going from it to here.

safe, no as you still send your data in the clear from the VPN to here, all this does and it is good is stops your provider from seeing who and what your talking to or about.

TOR
An encryption connection program - THIS IS HARDER to set up and run. all connections to the servers is encrypted, BUT it is like VPN, as soon as that data goes from its last server to here it is unencrypted and clearly readable.

If you do not know we can help you, if you are worried about how to or what program we can use than ask.

I cannot fill books worth of info on here this was a simple way of showing what people are talking about.

You are NOT alone...

Blessings.

I would think that there’s no difference between using an app vs a web browser on a phone, except for display issues.
I often use FR on my phone, but have to adjust display size.

A caution about using VPN. Generally you will be blocked from online purchasing with most vendors.
..........
Content will be slower, in some cases, much slower to upload and download. Often, big files will time out.
..........
The ISPs used by VPN servers are well known and easy to block by Netflix, Hulu, etc.
............
China, Iran, Russia, Syria, Egypt, and Turkey block VPN services.

I very much agree, sadly having time to slowly go through the pro and con list of comms at this point in time is difficult, people and not foolish and can read deeper into subjects and ask here for answers, My efforts along with yours and others is to let people know that they do have heople here helping, and they as Not alone.

Respects for your posting as you have.

Waste of time.

All “subversive” communications will be shut down or closely monitored.

MIRC comms, just to show it can be done.

UnderNet #FReeSwiffer

it is text and using hexchat you have a link at least that does not eat resources and is free.

CAUTION: That will also KEEP you from being able to delete apps.

I tried to deleted FB, Twitter and Instagram after these changes and it wouldn’t let me.
