Everyone here is it wrong about how they’re going to get our guns.
They are not going to come to the door and demand your guns. If they know you own guns, and it’s pretty hard to not have a trail somewhere of ammunition purchases or gun parts or something like that. It will be different things like your social security check will stop unless you give in your guns. The IRS will freeze your bank account. Your employer will get a warning that he will be shut down if he doesn’t fire you. There are a thousand regulatory ways the government can destroy you without ever coming to your door.
If it gets to that, you have nothing to lose anyway....and nothing to gain from submission, since there is no guarantee the same thing will not be done again when those who hold power are displeased.
And then Revolutionary War II begins. I and many others WILL NOT COMPLY, and die if necessary. Democrat politicians will have to go underground, as they will ALL have "targets on their pictures".
I don't understand how anyone can suppose it would be otherwise. Nearly everyone will be obliged to choose between their income, career, house, car -- or their guns, and they'll surrender the guns. Insurance will be mandatory on each firearm you possess and it'll be extremely expensive. It'll come out of your check. You'll lose your house, your car, paying for it. Your doctor, as well as your employer, will be pressured, and they will fold. There is no need whatsoever for confrontation, with all but a few off-grid diehards.

The penalties for owning guns will become so draconian, most will give them up just to continue to participate in society.
