Amazon's suspension of Parler's account means that unless it can find another host, once the ban takes effect on Sunday Parler will go offline.
Amazon on Saturday kicked Parler off its Web hosting services. Parler, a social network favored by conservative politicians and extremists, was used to help plan and coordinate the January 6 attempted coup on Washington D.C. It has recently been overrun with messages encouraging “Patriots” to march on Washington D.C. with weapons on January 19.
Amazon's suspension of Parler's account means that once the ban takes effect on Sunday Parler will be offline until it finds someone else to host it.
Amazon declined to comment on the suspension. Parler has not yet responded to a request for comment.

Sunday (tomorrow) at midnight Amazon will be shutting off all of our servers in an attempt to completely remove free speech off the internet. There is the possibility Parler will be unavailable on the internet for up to a week as we rebuild from scratch. We prepared for events like this by never relying on amazons proprietary infrastructure and building bare metal products.
We will try our best to move to a new provider right now as we have many competing for our business, however Amazon, Google and Apple purposefully did this as a coordinated effort knowing our options would be limited and knowing this would inflict the most damage right as President Trump was banned from the tech companies.
This was a coordinated attack by the tech giants to kill competition in the market place. We were too successful too fast. You can expect the war on competition and free speech to continue, but don’t count us out.

More Info: Parler CEO Says Service Dropped By “Every Vendor” And Could End His Business
"....Parler CEO John Matze said today that his company has been dropped by virtually all of its business alliances after Amazon, Apple and Google ended their agreements with the social media service.
“Every vendor from text message services to email providers to our lawyers all ditched us too on the same day,” Matze said today on Fox News.
Matze conceded that the bans could put the company out of business while raising free speech issues, calling it “an assault on everybody.”
“They all work together to make sure at the same time we would lose access to not only our apps, but they’re actually shutting all of our servers off tonight, off the internet,” Matze said. “They made an attempt to not only kill the app, but to actually destroy the entire company. And it’s not just these three companies. Every vendor from text message services to email providers to our lawyers all ditched us too on the same day.”...."
This is a partial transcript of a Fox News show with Maria Bartiromo.
Illustrates why it is so important for business to control the critical operations of their business in house. This is especially true as corporations become woke and willing to punish those of different political beliefs. Discrimination because of politics needs to end.
Any idiot promoting violence in the name of conservatism is only going to harm us via public opinion or worse. The biased media are experts at spinning (or lying or creating or muzzling) events in their favor. We need to create a infrastructure that can offset that ability.
Trump experienced 5 years of wrongful attacķs by leftists and their media, and then they topped it off with a stolen election. It rightfully made him angry as well as his supporters, and enough so that judgement of outcome was affected. We need to make sure we act with smarts and righteousness and not allow the left to use us.
I’m going to drop Prime as a statement of protest. They prorate with refund. Every leftist run organization that depends on customers, needs to face a financial hit from their outrageous unAmerican bias. It may not always be convenient.
More reason to support FR
Agreed. End to end digitalization enables your listening, viewing habits and what you say to be monitored and tracked by government and business interests. That analog cell and off the air TV and radio (unless on WiFi) was/is your own business.
In my Amazon app there is a contact button. If I push it Amazon calls me every time I push it.. I’ve been pushing it over and over. They keep calling and calling but I’ve been busy.
I’m still here. I might post more.
I’ve had good success with it fwiw.
Agreed
Reminds me of the good old days

#BREAKING: In television news interview, CEO of Parler says attorneys representing the company have dropped them as a client.
That’s rhetoric.
Who’s more susceptible to political pressure than the government? SJWs at Amazon already pressured the company to refuse to provide facial recognition software to law enforcement.
Get ready for the implementation of china's "social credit" system. It is already starting with social media and people losing their jobs for supporting candidates who "the party" does not approve of in our new 'woke' society. This can only end one way unfortunately.
Our 'overlords' who control the big tech and social media companies may need to be reminded that they are only human and are therefore mortal. These reminders may have to come to them at about 2400 fps.
Yep, not being on Twitter won’t be an option, they simply won’t hire you without a Twitter account to check on.
And just not posting anything or not saying anything bad won’t be enough, you must proclaim your love of Big Brother, and denounce anyone who doesn’t.
It just dawned on some people there are double standards.
We are living in a new Jim Crow world and conservatives are the black people now.
Standby for a surprise. Obama sold off US control of ICANN. Taking conservative sites off can start with something as simple as taking out the DNS lookup. You'll have to keep a local /etc/hosts and do your own. Games can be played with blacklisting IP addresses so that people who subscribe to blacklist/whitelist suppliers will cut off access to those on the blacklist. Getting in the business of McAfee/Norton/MalwareBytes/ESET, you could put more blacklisting stuff in.
Currently, my employer doesn't block FR, but it does block other site using blacklisting mechanisms. It's easier than you know to squash/extinguish access.
Indeed ... that needs to be part of the risk analysis
Order cheap stuff. $5. Return it. The amount of processing for $5 or $500 is the same. Burn some CPU/disk cycles for no net gain (all expense) on the Amazon end.

You bet it will.
