I wonder if the Trump kids could help with financing a big server farm?
I can’t recall.. I do remember going through a whole deplatforming issue something like 15 or 20 years ago. I think there was a lawsuit that Jim won. Don’t remember the details but maybe we have already had that fight?
What you posted re the tracking and geofencing. I am an “I.D. Addict” so know how TPTB use cell info. It seems they do it on older flip phones, too. And, like you, I think the info is retained forever.
Parler still up
Me too.
Easy enough to never use Amazon again. I have avoided it for years and have managed to survive just fine.
May have already been asked but can we as the public file a class action against big tech for their intrusion (putting it mildy)free speech or is that just a waste of time. Not looking for any compensation except to those service tey are trying to suppress.
Cell tower info is less accurate, and I keep mine off anyway. Also, I am not sure how geofencing works with the cell carriers. This was Google, ie Android phones they were working with, so the phones are sending GPS info back to Google.
These guys are heros.
Why execute the VP? He has already committed suicide. (Political)
It took me about 6 hours to remove all my photos, albums, videos, and posts yesterday. I’m going to stay with FB for 30 more days so “the photos you have moved to your trash will be permanently deleted in 30 days”. I have been with FB since 2009.
You don’t have to go anywhere to cancel Amazon Prime. You can do it online, just like you have typed your post online.

People are now asking (demanding) Cloudflare to deny Parler DNS services and DDOS protection.
If these tech companies (Twitter in particular) want to act like publishers instead of platforms, then they should be treated as such.
They should be sued every time someone uses twitter to send out a libelous tweet. Let it go to the supreme court where a decision will have to be made as to whether twitter is a platform or a publisher.
“ maybe it will be different this time and they will not kill people who want liberty”

Yeah, and perhaps I will win the next Megamillions lottery, and on my way to claim my winnings, I will observe a flock of flying pigs so large that it darkens the noonday sky.
Sorry for being sarcastic, but that’s just not going to happen. First, it never does - ALL repressive regimes kill their opponents to the best of their abilities - after they try to silence them with laws and limiting access to communications. In our case, the Leftist scum (but I repeat myself) have already set up a web site for the “Trump Accountability Project,” as Orwellian of a name for compiling lists of future residents of re-education camps and shallow graves as one can imagine. This isn’t new, Bill Ayres spoke of getting rid of 25 million recalcitrant Americans...when our population was less than 2/3 of its present size; now it would be in the neighborhood of 40 million.
They ARE coming for us, in the same way that Stalin’s NKVD and Hitler’s Einsatzgruppen did for people in the middle of the last century.

Twilio just cut ties with Parler, meaning 2FA or phone signup verification is down.
You would be able to bypass needing a phone number/email by entering random digits, and possibly start botting depending on how good their captcha is.
This could end horrifically.
That’s why you can’t have any unmoderated platform.
Leftist provocateurs would just post Nazi Crap and overrun it and drive normals away.
Did not know that. And agree concerning “FR, Parler, Gab and the rest”. Still would use precautions in regard to “state actors”.
Is FR down?
Did I miss it?
I haven’t had my coffee yet.
