Elections are scripted now. The GOP will be retained as a pet, a fake opposition party designed to make the dems look like they aren't a single party politburo running things. They'll be a permanent minority that enjoys graft and privilege as long a they obey. They'll posture for the cameras as required to maintain the illusion but any opposition will be purely symbolic as it always has been with the uniparty.
The illusion is crumbling before our eyes. This will be a very dark winter. We have to survive it and make it to spring. Things will be better in the spring.
