Most show people should just save their breath rather than make political comments, because everyone already knows what they are going to say. If there is a pressing need to get Clooney’s opinion on record, a reporter could ask, “Hey, George, do you think Trump’s name will forever be associated with insurrection?”, and he could answer, “Yep.”
He sure was singing a different tune when his side were committing their insurrections:
