Trump to spend weekend at Camp David as calls rise for his removal
President Trump will travel to Camp David this weekend as calls heat up for his removal from office, The Washington Times has learned.
A person familiar with the president’s travel plans confirmed that Mr. Trump will visit the seldom-used presidential retreat in Frederick County, Maryland. It’ll be the president’s second-to-last weekend in office before the inauguration of President-elect Joseph R. Biden on Jan. 20.
Democrats and some Republicans are raising calls for Mr. Trump to be impeached or removed from office via the 25th Amendment ...

I sincerely hope President Trump has his private security team in place. There is not part of the government that is to be trusted with his protection at this point. The Democrats and their Republican enablers have gone full banana republic.
Isn’t Camp David an extremely secure location with all the levers available to run the government?

Look for Camp David to be compared to the “bunker” before the day is over.
It just occurred to me that they were likely afraid to make Trump a martyr. The events that occurred yesterday and the ready made narrative might have removed that fear.
I pray that this is not the case.

President Trump will be fine. Even if he leaves office this month, he still has a leadership role to fill if he wants it. I would certainly say that we do still need him. It sounds like he’s very much ready to soldier on in another role.
He won’t be able to soldier on. They will attack him with law suits and criminal prosecutions from day one. And do the same to his entire family and anyone who worked closely with him in his administration. They need to make an example of him so that no one else will attempt to take on the deep state.
Even though he is afforded zero professional courtesy, I think former Presidents are in a special club.
While for all four years of his presidency they attacked him, vilified him and spewed their hate and lies because he wasn't part of their deep state of corruption.
And they didn't want to be exposed with their hands in the cookie jars making millions for themselves while doing nothing for America. And now they have to keep pressing because they feel they've got the people's back supporting their hate and corruption. SO SAD!
Camp David is extremely secure. Security is by a Marine force and the household is via Navy stewards.
Article 1 Section 3 says that part of the punishment if convicted is a ban from holding any office in the future. “Judgment in Cases of Impeachment shall not extend further than to removal from Office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any Office of honor, Trust or Profit under the United States: but the Party convicted shall nevertheless be liable and subject to Indictment, Trial, Judgment and Punishment, according to Law.”
Won’t Trump be surprised when he returns to the White House and be refused admittance.

Article II Section 1 Clause 5 says:
No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.
Yet, we had 8 years of a usurper in the open who, if Obama Sr. really was his birth father, could never have been a "natural born Citizen" because he inherited his foreign father's foreign citizenship by birthright.
And the Twelfth Amendment:
...But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States.
And yet...harris is "VP elect" and will be "VP" on Jan 20th. She too, inherited her foreign fathers foreign citizenship by birthright.
Both, were born owing allegiance to a foreign country. U.S. law recognizes this allegiance owed.
Yet, none of it has mattered. Not enough people care enough. In fact, many on "our" side shot down those of us trying to make this part of our Constitution and our history known and have adherence to it.
It's just yet another part of our Constitution that has been tossed in the dustbin of history.
Our Constitution is effectively dead...and has been for some time now. Anyone thinking it isn't, is fooling themselves.

You wouldn't think so, but per the Constitution the punishment for impeachment is "removal from Office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any Office of honor, Trust or Profit under the United States..." So they may impeach him after the fact just to keep him from running again in 2024.
I ask because they don't have the time or votes for impeachment.
Time, maybe not. But 93 senators voted against challenges to Trump's re-election yesterday and if they impeach him once he's out of office I can see them getting the necessary 67 votes just to keep Trump from ever running again.
Camp David NOTAM was just cancelled...
