President Trump will travel to Camp David this weekend as calls heat up for his removal from office, The Washington Times has learned.
A person familiar with the president’s travel plans confirmed that Mr. Trump will visit the seldom-used presidential retreat in Frederick County, Maryland. It’ll be the president’s second-to-last weekend in office before the inauguration of President-elect Joseph R. Biden on Jan. 20.

I ask because they don't have the time or votes for impeachment. And they don't have the votes for 25th Amendment either because of the appellate clause of the Amendment.
Trump needs to protect himself at this point. He is completely abandoned in Washington DC.

I would trust very few who protect Trump from actually doing it. The Deep State will get to them, too, if they haven’t already.
All the impeachments in the world don’t prevent him from running again. A felony conviction would be required for that.
