The robbers are heavily armed and have seriously injured other customers, most of whom now require emergency medical treatment. The alarm has been ringing for 30 minutes and law enforcement and 911 have declined to respond; something about cats being stuck in trees at several locations.
Trump's circumstance is commonly known as being "out of options" - or so it would appear to the public.
