Someone like Matthews is kind of a low level official to be releasing “a statement” given that public relations is her stock in trade. Obviously, she’s looking for another job, and the statement is a bid to prove to the swamp that she’s still hireable and one of them. What a thing to do in the wake of a transition when she ought to be helping the others out instead of thumping out like an elephant and leaving the others to do her work.
Principled? Don’t think so. She was leaving the post anyway. The resignation ‘statement’ is just a lot of grandstanding.
And it’s sad, because many voters are angry about losing their president to election fraud, which is what her ‘statement’ should have been about. That’s the actual reason she’s looking for another job, but fine and dandy to blame Trump voters and the misguided actions of a few, with chaos at the Capitol quite possibly led by Antifa provocateurs, as the big reason instead. She couldn’t even denounce Antifa?
These last minute resignations are forward thinking. They are currying their resumes for future uniparty appointments, lobbying, or consulting.
Principles? They wouldn’t know them if they slapped them upside the head. Simply being complicit in what they know was a fraud.
The political class keeps cementing it’s position as the lowest form of pond scum...next to the CCP controlled media.
They are resigning to take their new jobs with the swamp in DC. Keep track of how many actually go back to their home states and how many remain in DC.
That’s because they like their Democrat “friends” and want to continue to find lucrative work in government.
Cowards. Media whores. Parasites.
The usual suspects.
Whether deliberate strategy or byproduct of unfolding events, POTUS has managed to uncover nearly all the moles and pretenders surrounding him.
They’re all exposed.
These people think that things are going to go “back to normal.”
Other than Mulvaney, not one person mentioned has any bearing on a SINGLE SOLITARY THING in the world. They fetch coffee, open doors and pick up the dry cleaning.
They think that this is their pathway to future political aspirations, I’m sure. It sure won’t win my vote if the opportunity ever comes up.
Why wait for Biden to fire them. I’d leave, too.
Capitol Police opened the gates.
Antifa, using kneepads and false flag Trump gear, broke windows to gain entry.
Known Antifa personalities were key parts of this group.
CNN was tipped off that the breech was going to happen, because the posted in the same minute it happened.
Trump supporters got sucked in and added to the crowd inside.
The violent people inside were young Antifa types.
Already hearing it from liberal family members. It was Trump’s fault. He will become the convenient scapegoat. One even wrote that now everything will be OK. No more COvid, etc..everything is beautiful. I am afraid that the fall will be harder than anyone one thought possible.
But Kayleigh McEnany is still there and, I hope, loyal to the end.
The capital has fallen and they are all running to the new regime, same story through history
You all get to tell your children that you experienced a “color revolution.” Just like the Ukrainians, Georgians, Kyrgyz and others. Welcome to the club
Everyone is now just looking out for their personal best interest, following the example set by Republican members of Congress since Nov. 3.
I wonder how many of them are already shopping tell-all books to publishers?
