What’s that old saying? “Never wage a war against someone who buys ink by the barrel”. In the end, he was probably beaten by a Chinese Virus and the enemedia working for the democrats. But he did call it a hoax. That was a blunder. Obama might have been able to recover from a blunder like that but I don’t think he would have made it.
All of Obama’s public missteps were covered over, whether it was the police acting stupidly, if he had a son (with Trayvon), and this gem from October 2020 (shortly before the election):

It wasn’t scintillating television, but whether you were a conservative or a liberal, you got your news from the same place, so you had some common baseline of facts, and now you don’t.”
