Viewer discretion advised. Video clearly shows the officer shooting Ashli. Watch this and tell me it's not murder.
It’s not a subjective standard. It’s a reasonable officer standard. What the officer personally (subjectively) felt or thought is of little importance.
He came from cover, where he was safe, and shot her.
That’s murder. There are about a 1,000 cases on this.
In my best Joementia Biden, he could have shot her in the Leg.
Lethal force was not required at this point. Don’t try to justifyi ths murder. This guy panicked.
If I shoot them through the door/window, you're absolutely right. If they have broken it and are entering the house, I can legally shoot them if I fear they intend harm. Anyone breaking into the house when I'm there, I have to assume they intend harm, or why would they be breaking in? I've taken the concealed carry class here, which includes training in use of force. And I've lived in states that have a duty to retreat law. I don't live in those places anymore.
Let me say this about Sophie Scholl since you're fixated on her death and struggle against the Nazi's.
Yes, if you like...compare Ashli to Sophie's struggle against the Nazi's during WWII. OK, so Sophie resisted and was executed.
Ashli was not executed, however she may have had her blood spilled for a higher purpose...time will only tell.
The next 4 years will certainly be challenging. Hopefully we conservatives will not see some sort of left wing retribution. We don't know how things will play out, but we will certainly find out soon.
Who knows, maybe instead of yelling, “Remember the Alamo” it will be, “Remember Kyle, Remember Ashli”. In any case, we are in interesting times to be sure.
OK.

Or simply shot the gun out of her hand instead of going for the lethal head shot. /s
After he is identified, and he will be, my bet is that the murderer will be made an example of in a vigilante court.
And if that happens I, for one, won’t shed a tear. I don’t care who he is or what his government position is.
The United States of America is gone. May God utterly destroy this banana republic that has supplanted it.
NOW we can cue up Rev. Jeremiah Wright.
Or fired the shotgun through the closed door...
Good point, but most banana republics are/have been vassals of dark empires.
The man in that picture is not black. Look at the forehead....
See 131.
I won’t mourn his passing.
Come to think of it there are a fair number whose passing I won’t mourn.
Amen to that!
“Why was she up to high? Was she trying to climb through a broken window?”
Since when do we shoot people who are simply crawling through a broken window?
I hadn’t noticed that. Thx!
Where is the video? How do I get at it?
There were cops all around her and Mr. Cufflink doesn’t appear to be a law officer. The big question is why was he carrying a weapon inside the Capitol?
Depends on where you live. Here, anywhere you are legally allowed to be, going about your legal business, you can defend yourself or others. Though Castle Doctrine is not necessarily involved, here. He may be an officer. He may be a congresscritter himself. He may be some other person who had legal business there. He may even be someone who is lawfully armed there. I don't know, and I try not to make unwarranted assumptions. Admittedly, I don't always manage it. Your last question is a good question. Lauren Boebert, the new congresscritter from Colorado is arguing against being prevented from carrying in the House. Supported by 82 of the House members, as well. I'm interested in seeing how that works out, as well.
