National Basketball Players Association executive director Michele Roberts expressed outrage over the mob that stormed the U.S. Capitol in Washington on Wednesday and how the event reflected racial double standards in America.
Roberts told ESPN that her conversations with multiple NBA players throughout the afternoon kept returning to the contrast between the scene of President Donald Trump's supporters storming the Capitol with the Tuesday announcement that police officers in Kenosha, Wisconsin, would not face any charges in the shooting of Jacob Blake, who is Black.

I dislike the racial double standards in this country too. BLM had months free to burn down entire cities and still had media and politicians bowing before them. White people can’t even walk through a public building without being condemned as terrorists. Very sad, Whites are second class citizens in their own country.

Didn’t realize they’ve charged Capitol Hill Police with shooting. Maybe AOC can introduce legislation defunding the CH Police. We do want to be fair.
Trump could have sent the National Guard into NYC, Seattle, Portland, etc. There likely would have been many deaths. Yet he didn’t.
I believe that Trump is a man of peace.

Don’t forget who took the financial risks and burdens from developing these sports and arenas in the first place. Honestly, white owners of pro sports should sell while minorities think they’re getting a great vehicle with which to direct the lives of Americans.
Just hear Faux news blurb on the radio refer to this as “Trump inspired riots.”.
4 months of looting, burning, and rioting = no shots fired by authorities vs. 1 hour of protesting = person shot and killed.
Ask her about the NBA’s “Justice for Hong Kong and Uighers” initiative.The look on her face would be priceless.
