Biden isn’t even in office yet and he has already cost me thousands. And his AWB will cost me tens of thousands. I’m done giving a damn about perception.

I figure it this way, the Democrats will be in charge of the Federal government, and the GOP will mostly be in charge of the states. Both parties represent the interests of a small number of elites supplemented with cultural issues (that cost the elites nothing) that poll around 20% like reparations and abortion. That 20% can carry each party because the parties are each around 30% of the voters, but you have around 40% of voters who are unaffiliated, and if the parties try their typical song-and-dance, I think there is going to be a problem this time because the Feds will be fighting the vast majority of the states. Its going to be awfully hard not to end up thoroughly annoying the voters under those conditions.
You need the rest of the voters because while the Feds have plenty of firepower to destroy every protester down there today, they cannot get away with facing down a whole country full of angry people.
The rest of you are small in number, in denial and cowardly.

These millennials have been set against the deplorables, but guess who they have to go home to when times are tough?
I think you’ve got Dems on the Federal level, the GOP on the state level, and I will be very surprised if they are able to avoid making a big fat hairy mess of everything.

The only places that required NG was in states where Trump could not call them in...states rights. But this was an action against federal property and people. He can there. This is why there was such a bitch & moan in Oregon when Trump sent in ICE to protect federal property and arrested people trying to firebomb federal buildings only. The governor raise he(( when they did that crying how they were arresting Oregonians questioning its legality.
And what makes you sure they are Trump supporters? Couldn’t an organization like antifa, anarchists, boogaloo boys, white supremacits, or any of a number of supporting groups have caused it to try to disrupt the process with violence like they have before? It may not be any of Trump supporters. But you can be sure the leftist media will find someone to say they are.
