I work with teachers...educators...who make all kinds of excuses for Antifa.
These are people with degrees and decent paying jobs. Maybe all the people you know care about the vandalism, but I can tell you from conversations with plenty of people here in the suburbs of Atlanta, only about half cares.
The half that cares voted for Loeffler and Perdue. The other half voted for Warnock and Ossoff.
If you think most people care enough about Antifa to punish Dems at the polls, I hope recent election results will sway you to the contrary.
One final thought, in 1776 most Bostonians were “thugs and vandals” to the English.
Most true Bostonians are pretty tough today.
Well of course teachers make excuses for Antifa. They’re mostly leftists. That’s the real problem, and one that won’t be fixed by conservatives acting like idiots.
“About half cares” is far from “no one cares,” which is what you originally claimed. I think it’s more than half. Maybe it’s because I live in Texas, even if it’s Houston. But we didn’t have many riots here because even the Democrat-run police cracked down on antifa and BLM pretty effectively from the beginning.
I think Dems were punished at the polls. They lost a lot of elections around the country and Trump’s election was much closer than it could have been given the 4+ years of continuous propaganda against him and some of his own unforced errors. We were poised to win yesterday’s elections before the stimulus fiasco (for which Trump and McConnel both share blame) and over a month of idiots like Lin Wood telling Republicans not to vote.
1776 Bostonians weren’t thugs and vandals. The people barging into the Capitol are behaving like them.
