As the last line of defense of the Republic seems to be crumbling. With full federal government control -- the Republic will be permanently lost if Trump's reelection is permitted to be stolen

Absolutely correct. We are now about to commemorate the first usurpation with a vice presidential repeat.

People are quite properly noting the mendacity, duplicity and sheer sociopathy of this RAT, but there is scarcely a peep being raised about her Article II ineligibility.

Should there be any doubt, read what the SCOTUS ruled in Wong Kim Ark vs US. They did NOT say that he was a natural born citizen. Harris’s constitutional birth status is identical to his.

For some time now I’ve been reading late Roman Republic histories. We are pretty much there now. We all feel like Cato the Younger; we see the fall but not enough listen. Milo and Clodius carving things up and a Caesar likely on the way.

With country fraying we are down to God and family.

Probably where we always have been.

Take care all.

Simple and eternal truth is-—>Money is power.

America transferred it’s wealth to China via yuge trade deficits every year, year after year. American consumers were only too happy to snarf up cheaper goods at Walmart & Amazon.

But how did China gain so much manufacturing know how in a hurry? They simply bought it from us because we happily sold it to them. In my own outfit, the owner sold all engineering & manufacturing knowledge accumulated over 60 years was sold to China for just a few million dollars.

Next question is how did China get favorable trade deals to be able to export Trillions worth of goods every year?
It was made possible by welcoming China into WTO by no other than president Reagan, who did not have the vision to foresee the error. The seeds of destruction were sowed.

Then came along president Trump, who was the first president since Reagan to understand the stealing of American wealth by China and imposed tariffs to stem the unbalanced trade. That made Trump enemy #1 for the Chinese regime. And China now has the money to buy easily bought Americans in charge of running elections.

The principle of Follow the money still works.

“Aside from a Trump win, there’s one saving grace, and that’s the death of Ruth Ginsburg. Not a lock, of course, with Roberts on the Court, but still a very powerful branch that has the potential to shut down Democrat overreach by the executive and legislative branches.”

I disagree. The senate will hold packing the court as leverage against any overly conservative opinions.

Well, it’s a good thing that the GA Senate Runoff election is UNLAWFUL because it includes voters who were not registered at the time of the election being continued in the runoff. This violates GA state election law.

Either remove the NOOBs (newly-registered), or re-do the election. But the two GA Senators should be RECUSED from selecting POTUS in the Electoral College.

"At minimum, every Republican congressman or senator who votes to certify the disputed state Biden electors should be marked for political extinction. And should know that fact when they vote today in joint session."

Exactly, Georgia Girl 2. This will be settled today or never.

“Am I exaggerating ? Give me your thoughts.”

Well, you may actually be understating the impending EVIL. If, assuming Biden takes office, Schumer moves to abolish the 60 vote cloture requirement then we will have evidence that they intend the DESTRUCTION OF OUR REPUBLIC and want nothing standing in their way.

You are not exaggerating.

There needs a to be a separation, but not a complete divorce. I don’t know what would need to happen for that to occur. There will probably be violence.

The left won’t co-exist peacefully and will do whatever it takes to continue to expands its power. I know enough about history to understand this.

To pack the Court, they’d first need to get rid of the legislative filibuster, which, as Dems learned with the Court, is a very dangerous thing because the pendulum always swings back. Majorities in both houses are very slim. 2 years goes fast, and I expect the Dems are going to have bigger fish to fry than trying to dismantle the whole government. But I suppose time will tell.

They took over a fifth of the nations economy with Obama-care. It didn’t need to pass the filibuster. If you think that will slow them down, you’re fooling yourself FRiend.

Honestly, we've been on the bridge going back to be for Kenhedy. Each democrat elected has been the straw that broke the camel's back. Each time, we survived. We are innovative and resilient. That's not to say there won't be challenges.

Many people are so concerned about the culture wars. Yet did President Trump end abortion, end same sex marriage, end same sex rest rooms, end women serving onbthe front lines or add prayer to the classroom?

This summer I spent my time reading a 600-plus page biography on Cicero. His last work chronicled the fall of the Roman Republic.

We are at the very same precipice in our history as the Roman Republic just before they lost it.

The question is - will all the contingencies built into our Constitution hold to prevent us from losing our Republic?

This is the greatest test our nation has ever faced.

” every Republican congressman or senator who votes to certify the disputed state Biden electors should be marked for political extinction”

I think they should consider themselves extremely lucky if that’s the only form of “extinction” they are marked for.

“will all the contingencies built into our Constitution hold to prevent us from losing our Republic?”

Well all of them except for 2 seem to have failed so far. We’ll see if one of those fails today, and then that just leaves one...

I view them just using it as a threat with support by Roberts. We will see if the SC takes up any gun cases.

Regarding the senate in 2022 it doesn’t look good for the GOP. However, as you say, there are a lot of issues.
