No, there has been blatant fraud again.
Frankly the US Army would have many, many defections if Texas and few other states seceded. Probably a third. Many of the pilots would take their planes/helos with them....

Red America controls the food. Our America acts up, they f’ing starve in their hives. It doesn’t even require official action - just a few dozen food trucks headed to the hives shot up by Red militias, filmed and broadcast with a warning to other truckers not to feed the Blues, and ALL truck traffic to the hives stops (not just food). Oh, they will arrange for replacement food...but not in time to stop many hives from looking like a Mad Max movie.

Yes, as a fiscal conservative myself, McConnell was probably correct in the greater scheme of things. But four days before what might end up being the most important election of our lifetimes WAS NOT the time to fight this battle. The optics were absolutely terrible. After congress passed a budget that funded every two bit special interest program in the world, then telling voters "You don't need any more financial help." It just looked so arrogant and out of touch to the casual observer (which most voters are).
The thing is it was a pointless hill for McConnell to stake his flag on as he likely only delayed the $2,000 stimulus a week or two until a democrat Senate is seated. A very stupid political mistake from someone who should have known better...
Perdue now up by 1322 with nearly all votes countered per washpost. He’s going to squeak it out. Alas Loeffler is toast.
