Yes, some sane people are trying to get this point across to the “Pence will save us!” crowd.

That’s the problem with this “states rights” argument. According to them, if the State “certifies” it, then “constitutional conservatives” must accept it - no matter how fraudulent.

If a bunch of rag tag electors in suits shows up and says HEY, we voted on the steps outside the official elector vote and we want to be heard...the answer is NO

No State has sent a competing set of electors. Pence can’t open an envelope and say HEY, I will take the dudes on the steps.
