Mayor Muriel Bowser has just activated 340 National Guard troops ahead of a gathering of Trump supporters in DC on Wednesday, anticipating potential unrest on the streets of DC.
"We will not allow people to incite violence, intimidate our residents or cause destruction in our city," said Bowser in a prepared statement.
Unfortunately, she didn't see fit to do so when DC was in full riots back in early June of this year, and people were getting hurt.

Only certain types of pepper spray.
You can have a stun gun, however.
No knives with blades longer than 3 inches.

Yes, Governors can activate their own state NG. I believe the poster was referring to the DC NG which the President can only activate. However, I read he has delegated such authority to Sec. of Defense, and he as delegated it to the Sec. of Army. The Mayor's request for DC NG has been approved, so they'll be there.
I wouldn't be concerned since they will probably just play crowd/traffic cops and escorts for arrestees to off site. I doubt they will be armed and will just mill around in the background. The ones to worry about are the DC Police.
Anyway, I favor Stun Guns and Bear Spray. There is also Hornet Spray you can find anywhere. It has a narrow fairly long spray. I'd bet that can't be fun to be on the receiving end.
I do not believe there is a Governor of Washington DC.

If the trump supporters resist being attacked they will be demonized by the media the Democrats & the RNC who whoewould rather suck democrat donkey dick the fight to destroy the DNC!
