President Trump urged fellow Republican Brad Raffensperger, the Georgia secretary of state, to “find” enough votes to overturn his defeat in an extraordinary one-hour phone call Saturday that election experts said raised legal questions. The Washington Post obtained a recording of the conversation in which Trump alternately berated Raffensperger, tried to flatter him, begged him to act and threatened him with vague criminal consequences if the secretary of state refused to pursue his false claims, at one point warning that Raffensperger was taking “a big risk.” Throughout the call, Raffensperger and his office’s general counsel rejected Trump’s assertions, explaining that the president is relying on debunked conspiracy theories and that President-elect Joe Biden’s 11,779-vote victory in Georgia was fair and accurate.
Trump dismissed their arguments. “The people of Georgia are angry, the people in the country are angry,” he said. “And there’s nothing wrong with saying, you know, um, that you’ve recalculated.” Raffensperger responded: “Well, Mr. President, the challenge that you have is, the data you have is wrong.”
At another point, Trump said: “So look. All I want to do is this. I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have. Because we won the state.” The rambling and at times incoherent conversation offered a remarkable glimpse of how consumed and desperate the president remains about his loss, unwilling or unable to let the matter go and still believing he can reverse the results in enough battleground states to remain in office. “There’s no way I lost Georgia,” Trump said, a phrase he repeated again and again on the call. “There’s no way. We won by hundreds of thousands of votes.”

I’m not saying that this hurt President Trump much, but I can’t see how he gained anything by it. It sounds desperate. Why would the White House leak it?
Trump should just release the entire unedited phone call. He had to know it was being taped.
Yes. And Joe Biden says that Hunter Biden is the smartest person he knows.
And this guy could be the most powerful man in the world.
I got a notification on my phone from CNBC—business channel?
They really are getting desperate...First I read about death threats this morning, now this :/
Gop house did not get over 50%. Ran 3.1 % behind dems on total,
Or about 1.3% ahead of Trump (all

Good bit better than 2018 but worse
Than 2016.
Pointer to the debunking, pls.
Once facebook/twitter/social media/the press calls something debunked they never have to explain. It just is.
Great. Call me whatever you want. It happened. I also have seen articles describing the same thing happening in other states.
“Jim Hagan, 68, of Chalfont, Bucks County, has a simple answer.
His distaste for Trump did not extend to others in the GOP.
“Although I voted for Mr. Trump in the previous election, I was very dissatisfied with his performance,” he said. “I think he completely dropped the ball on the COVID thing.”
That is pretty much what my two friends said. Didn’t like his handling of covid. The other also thought that him asking the Ukraine to investigate Biden was wrong.
They are going full retard on fake news.
Amy must be sucking swamp water writing this kind of trash.
President Trump knew the Rat might rape and leak the call.
Maybe, President Trump was counting on the leak.
Now, more people are aware of the crimes (???)
Go screw yourself with a cactus.
Yes. Raffensperger better find those votes- the dead votes, the pristine ballot Biden votes, the out of state votes , the overnight Ruby Freeman 129k Biden only votes after running the same stacks thru time and again- and the Dominion flipped 17k plus votes and certify the state for Trump. Raff is a deep state traitor!
Reminds me of ...
“I know it’s anecdotal but I have several black friends ...”
Yeah, lol.
So, Raffensperger illegally recorded a private call with POTUS, then leaked it to the press?
