On Twitter, Chambers identified herself as a “socialist.”

“We have an entire private Airbnb house to ourselves,” she bragged in a post that showed her feet at the end of a lounge chair, with the pool and palm trees in the background.

On Friday, it is predicted to be 35 degrees where her students live in Chicago, according to Weather.com.

In another post, Chamber mugged for the camera from her towel with a caption that read, “Pool life.”

WGN noted the CTU “is threatening the possibility of a strike if the district pushes ahead with plans to reopen school buildings.”

Yes, they are. I am so tired of teachers complaining about how hard they have it and how underpaid they are. They never mention that they work 9 months out of the year with generous time off during the year. Also tired of the slavish worship of teachers, as if they are some kind of martyrs for a cause. Schools are run for the benefit of the teachers and the bureaucracy, not the students.

“I am so tired of teachers complaining about how hard they have it and how underpaid they are”

Like my SIL. She was making $65k 10 years ago. Retired this past year. She makes 85% of her average last 3 years salary. Retired after 30 years-age 54. Health benefits covered for life. I think she is paying $325 month. My wife and I pay almost $2000 per month with a $8000 deductible each.

20 years ago whe the gravy train was really going she had 6 pairs of eyeglasses to match each outfit. All paid for by the taxpayers.

I just happen to have 3-4 friends who are schoolteachers. All they do is complain.
