‘Gilligan’s Island’ Star Dawn Wells Dies Of COVID-19

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – Actress Dawn Wells, best known for playing Mary Ann on the hit sitcom “Gilligan’s Island,” has died at the age of 82 after becoming infected with COVID-19.

Barbara Eden is/was gorgeous.
I happened upon a replay of ‘I dream if Jeanie’ and was shocked at how beautiful she was, more so than I remember.
Another was Juliet Mills in ‘nanny and the professor’, just lovely.
Women are portrayed in vulgar fashion in Hollywierd now, pity.

She was the one living next door to you, when you came home on leave, would see her and think “Wow! She grew up...she isn’t that scrawny, irritating girl next door anymore!”

I grew-up next-door to one of those. Irrepressible tomboy who was a better athlete than most of the guys in the neighborhood. Grew up to be a VERY attractive adult woman.

I’ve seen photos of Barbara Eden on a USO tour with Bob Hope that were so gorgeous they made my eyesight blur. And she was probably around 50 when they were taken.

Barbara Eden used to stay at the 5-star Hawaii resort where I worked in the ‘90s. She was SO NICE. (Most celebrities were not.)

I had an uncle who was in charge of maintenance at a large hotel where lots of celebrities stayed. He had stories. Most of them were not very nice. Barbara Eden never stayed there but he always said Anita Bryant was the nicest celebrity who ever stayed there.
